.. yeah I've always either used my bank to make the transfer or used western union, for quickness.. I know a lot of people like to promote transfer wise.. but every time I see one of these debates I check and can normally prove straight away that they aren't the cheapest..

When I started working for a school here in korat, last year. They told me and the other new teachers that we can have a B visa issued to us at the local immigration office, if we can get our degrees authenticated first.
