You might want to be careful about IO asking about if your ed visa was legit or not. Coming straight back after one week is an invitation to get invited to the backroom.

I'm from California, the richest state in the country and trust me,, it is dangerous. The homelessness, the robbery, and you always have to watch your back when you have the $$$.

Your only choice is an ed visa but you'll have to go to school 5 days a week for 3 hours a day. So who is going to watch your child for 4 hours? That is going to be expensive. Thailand is not a good place for a western woman to raise a child by herself. I recommend you go back to England where you have friends and family.

I wouldn't abuse the multi entry. You have to apply in your homw country. I guess you should wait 3 months just to be on the safe side before begore another application.

when you fly back in a day before the 6 month expiration date, they give you another 2 months plus the 1 month extension. Okay so, 8 months and 29 days.

Don't listen to these naysayers. Come here on a multi entry visa that will give you 9 months and do a student visa that will give you 12 months. That would give you enough time to find a job. NOW, make sure you have enough saved up. Teachers don't make anything unless you are at an international school. Also, the dating life here would suck for you. These sex pats only want a young Thai girls in their 20s. The Thai guys here are lame. All the good ones would also want a young Thai girls in their 20s. As long as you can accept that your income would be limited and the dating scene would suck for you, then Thailand would be the spot for you.

You get a 30 day extension before the 60 is up which will give you 90 days. Then you have to leave and come back and repeat the whole process. Make sure you come back the 2nd time before the 6 month visa expires. That will give you another 3 months. So you can squeeze 9 months out of it.
