Thailand is much better in repair than almost every Western country. Repair in the West usually comes down to component replacement, almost never board repair. (I am an electronics engineer).

How are you going to check the new screen if the laptop does not even power-on?

Like you would do in every other country, you need to take them to court. This will take a very long time, the judge will likely go for a compromise and you will never get the full amount back since the laptop was damaged and not working (my guess is that you get around 20 to 30%). Realistically looking, accepting any amount of compensation outside of court is probably most beneficial for you. File a police report and show it to your company for evidence.

Looks like you have not arranged a Thai id card for your child. Do this as soon as possible. You'll need the birth certificate.

I think that Thai couples do less activities together because they have less free time. But besides that I don't think Thai married women act as if they are single.

Just load one of the common dating apps. Ask them what kind of work they do and for how long they have been doing it. If not satisfied with the answer, just skip. Many of the working girls or freelancers don't have regular job.

Walk into bangkok bank. They got an instruction paper from their main branch which points out that foreigners on a non immigrant O visa can open a bank account. Ask to see the instruction paper, and point to the line on the paper that says it. Sometimes a letter from immigration helps.

If your son is Thai you need permission from the mother to travel. He needs to leave in the same passport he entered. When applying for a new passport you also need permission from the mother.

Shipping and import tax cost might be higher than the value of the laptop. In Thailand you can find usable second hand laptops for 7000 Baht or better, new ones for
