TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, cable TV services do exist, notably with providers like TrueVisions, though users often report dissatisfaction with the quality. Many expatriates and locals prefer streaming options for television content. With a good internet connection, you can easily access both local and international programming through smart devices like Android TVs without needing cable. Popular streaming apps such as Netflix and HBO are available, though some users might need a VPN to access certain US-based services. Overall, streaming seems to be the more favored choice among users.

Even if you buy cable internet the videos are most likely streamed over the cable connection. Non-streamed video services are a disappearing technology. There is no good reason to choose for non-streamed video services.

If you want a wide selection of international tv programming.. then consider an IPTV subscription.. easily streamed via a bespoke app on an Android tv or Media box π
based on your profile, are you doing market research?
