Guys, after leaving Thailand yesterday (Sunday, the 12th), the border officer warned me that my Non-O visa would be canceled, even though the end date in my passport was the 18th. In my case, it was fine since I plan to return from HMC with a DTV. However, please note that your Non-O visa will be canceled first. Itβs not possible to simply 'switch' from a Non-O visa to a DTV.
That's why better do everything correct, if an agency or "magic course for a few thbs" promises you that you will be ok for 5 years, maybe they are lying to you, careful with scammers and "half scammers"
I will on Sunday, currently I am in Thailand π, but I am very worried because the clinic did not send me what they promised, so finally I have to apply for workation, I have everything but still worry π (my LLC documents do not show my second name, only first and two surnames (US things π) .
I don't know what is VOA, in my case I am married in Thailand, so I have more option, and if VOA means visa on arrival, you can get 2 or 3 per year, if is the first one this year you will ok, I stay LEGALLY in Thailand already for 7'8 years, and following the country rules I never ever had issues coming back.
