Hi all , I am wondering if someone knows if the border with Myanmar in Ban Phu Nam Ron is open? An agency told me that it is, but another person told me that the last month it was closed, any clue? Thanks

It's closed. Forget crossing to Myanmar, the land borders are being progressively closed to foreigners. Mae Sot closed on April 7, while Mae Sai closed a few days ago.

The Phu Nam Ron / Htee Khee border with Burma in Kanachanaburi is still not open for foreigners to exit/re-enter

At this time the only Burma border open is the Ranong / Kawthaung.
