Malcolm Whitlock had the experience just over a month ago whereby my appilication for an extension was held up as my local immigration told me 3 months prior to extension is required for the 800K to be in my account .

So best to consult your local immigration on whether its 2 or 3 months ,each might have their own rulings.

You can go as long as you like but you have to return before your extension expires.

You just might have to check your local immigration, I was nearly refused extension because mine was only seasoned for 2 months and my local immi said it had to be 3 months.

Wannikea Wanblee that's exactly what happened , he had his 2000 baht ready to pay and Immi Officer said not necessary for Png Passport holders,but that's not according to their website.

David E Moore that's what I always believed in your last sentence, however 3 weeks ago my extension was nearly refused as I had topped up 2 months prior,my local immigration said it should be 3 months .
