Hey mate. Just went thru the process 2 months ago...Very eazy.. Australian consultant in phuket certificates the marriage certificate and passport.. Cost about 4000thb.. there's a local translations offices that the consultant issues.. once in the hands of the translations office.. they do the running around to the Ministries offices get it all done and post you all documents translated, stamped by relevant parties..Cost aprox 5000thb. Turn around time 5 days. Then make a appointment with your local to get it registered.
PC will go off what your doctor has written.. its as simple as that.
Depending on what cover you have will determine if u get paid out or not..
In Thailand I'm guessing the doctor has said 1 thing to you and has put something else in the report.... At the end the insurance company will go of the doctors report rather than you jumping up and down trying to explain it to them...
