I am applying for my first re-entry permit on my one year extension. I don't know exactly when I will be returning. Is that a problem? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply for a re-entry permit without specifying an exact return date, as long as you return before your one-year extension expires. It's advised to enter any date within the extension period for the application.
Immigration really should simplify this process. In Turkey, I received Citizenship by purchasing a villa for over $400,000 USD. I have never done anything else in 4 years. Granted Turkey is a screwed up piece of garbage of a country and I will be moving to Thailand regardless when I sell this villa. Still, Thailand Immigration is really ridiculous.
