I did 4 weeks ago. Entertainment very limited, food awful but they did serve wine with the meal. No magazines or duty free magazines, I guess because they too think they spread Covid. Masked the whole flight which was over 14 hours because we left over two hours late at 3am due to the baggage belt broken. Don't expect the old normal. BKK LHR

As long as you return before the visa expires you will get stamped in another year. If the visa expires and you only have the extension then the extension is cancelled as soon as you leave. Returning on a 30 day exemption is a risk. I was told it's not possible and would have to get the correct visa when I return.

You have to do it online. Apparently it's down for maintenance until the 29th. I was told they only answer the phone for one a hour a day

the UK evisa site gave notice that's it's down for maintenance between the 21st and 29th April. I can't access it here also

even Thais fave restrictions. I know when we moved here had to prove my wife had lived in another country for over ten years and it was a one off repatriation. A stamp in her Thai passport to say she had done it the once.
