What is the process for extending a tourist visa in Thailand with an embassy letter during the amnesty period?
Has anyone who got an embassy letter in amnesty and stamped in until 26th October been to immigration and got the stamp until November 30th yet? And what paperwork is any did you need.
Answer summary
The conversation revolves around the extension of a visa for individuals who received an embassy letter during the amnesty period valid until October 26. Participants share experiences from various locations, mentioning that some have successfully extended their visas in Phuket and suggest that prior online approval documentation may be required for processing.

Did you go, yet?

A post in another forum said they got theirs in Phuket until end of November. You had to show them that you’d checked online that it had been approved already before they even let you in.
