You don't need to extend. Just travel as usual, you'll get 180 days upon each entry.

I think you'll be absolutely fine. I've been here since October, and just had withdrawn cash one time. With Alipay+, the Thai QR and regular cards, you won't really need cash. Also, if you want, you could open a Thai bank account, but that would only complicate things tax-wise. Remember that Korea and Thailand don't have a double taxation treaty.

Only people with obscure pasts of visa "abusing"* might be scrutinized.

* like having lived in Thailand on visa exempts like for 5 years straight or having an ED visa for studying Thai language like for 3 years and not being able to even say hello or thank you in Thai, etc.

Where are your regular bank accounts from? You didn't mention it but it's important because many Asian banks have agreements with Thai banks for using the QR system. I'm Korea-based and I can use all my Korean banks native apps to pay on Thailand for both Thai QR and Alipay+, which is important because
