they really need to spend some time getting their ducks in a row. Just turning up, with a cat, and starting the bank account and "retirement" stuff, with no real idea maybe isn't wise.

so the 800,000 is already in a Thai bank account? You really need to check the process through thoroughly. Have you got the import paperwork done for the cat yet? Import Where are you going to live, is it cat friendly?

yes, it was a long time ago. I'm old. Lol. But we had to comply with what the UN told us to get, my father worked for them. I only recently found my yellow vaccine booklet showing I'd had YF vaccination, I'd forgotten about it.

so if you don't have the bank account yet, you've got to get that set up. I'd not bring a pet over untill you've got the retirement sorted. Because if there's any issues what will happen to the cat?

Contact Relo4Paws they are pet relocators/import people. You may need to check out process retirement. Do that before just arriving with a cat. Have you got the funds in a Thai bank account etc?

not sure why you keep asking about my vaccination. Or why it has to make sense to you. It was back in the 60s, we had to have what the UN told us to have.
