Phuket maybe better than Cheung Wattana. My argument isn’t about doing things illegally, it’s about hiring somebody to do all of the LEGAL paperwork for me to save my time.

mine was for an O marriage. Yes got the list, returned with all of the items, wait 3 hours, sent away for more, get it and come back next day, sent for copies, then asked for a hand drawn map of my house, then sent away for something that I didn’t need the next day when I returned and saw a different officer.

For Thailand, I will always use agents to avoid the headache. If you can afford it then I would say it’s worth it.

You can save a lot of money but they make you wait hours, another copy, another document, another something or other.

For me it’s not worth the stress.

actually I don’t really care what happens to the UK, I was merely being polite to those that replied to me.

As for Thailand, the restrictions are one thing. But Thai politicians have been quite open about their Xenophobia in the past, with some well publicised rants. Plus the country is a hotbed for human trafficking. That’s what I was referring to when I mentioned xenophobic policy makers.

we all know just how bad it’s gone. I don’t think the adjective really makes much difference.

oh now it makes sense, thanks.

I would agree with that! Reform do look worrying. It’s quite sad what’s happening to old Blighty but I don’t really see any party improving life for the general population.

It’s all just a bit sad.
