Smart man : yes krungsi has its digital issues but easier to deal with than bank of Bangkok

You should always have 2-3 k on you anyway

If you have the means, but not the annual income required for the LTR, the Elite visa works well. Still have to do the 90 day report, but do not have to worry about bank accounts, bank balances. And if you like to travel,every time you re-enter it automatically renews for a year at no cost. Most expats do not wish to or cannot spend the upfront money.
