it's not a visa. It's a digital entry card. You can enter with no visa but the online form is supposed to start in May.

no they aren't asking you for a visa. It's an on line entry card with your info on it. Same type of thing you need to go to USA ( ESTA), or many other countries.

you're being a bit neurotic. And accusing this ATM charge of xenophobia is ridiculous. Totally.

Foreign cards incur ATM charges in the UK. Not because it's xenophobia but banking business. I really think if you are convinced everything: country/banking/fees etc is xenophobic then you really shouldn't travel abroad.

apply in home country if you don't have Thai bank account. Then get bank account after you arrive.

what has ATM fees got to do with xenophobia? Do you know the fees in other countries for ATM withdrawals using a "foreign" bank card?

you may think they are poison but I bet you're glad WE had smallpox vaccines to eradicate it, so you never needed one. No need to thank me. Oh and we had the polio vaccine so you didn't need one. . But now people like you keep trying to scare folk, and the polio risk is back. Not for me, I'm vaccinated against dying or being paralysed from it 😉.

You were trying to fly in with no proof you'd leave? Not really a good plan. A cheap ticket to another country would have been ok.
