My landlord has a ton of homes also. She should make her broker/manager do all these immigration runs for us instead of sitting around all day waiting for money to roll in. Its gonna take me a week just to get a signed coy of her ID probably (like last time).

Ill head downtown tomorrow and see what has changed in the last 24 hours and update.

Mind you this is for a second bank account at a bank that ALREADY VERIFIED MY ADDRESS AND SENDS STATEMENTS TO MY HOUSE EVERY MONTH. What an earth do they do with all this paperwork??

Return time via mail is only a few weeks also so I'm gonna renew after my next run then start next year with a fresh clean passport and matching Non O over 50. I'm finally old enough to retire! (according to some random rule making person at Thai Immigration.)

Agreed. Reason I ask is the outreach will be in Phuket in November and it would be great to renew local. I doubt I will make it till next November with 10 pages.

if you use it for the full five years you divide by five. That totalled less then I spent on visas and travel for. visas and peace of mind has a price. I get a hassle entering and exiting the country about 80% of the time. It's not worth it. The Elite is.

I retired and came at 45 and looking back know my biggest mistake was not getting the Elite. In the end it cost about the same and added countless headaches. Tell your friend get the Elite. The closer you are to 45 the most cost effective it is.

When can you apply for a new US passport based on the amount of pages? I would love to swap mine out but have ten empties left.
