Bangkok Bank Silom Branch (HO). On short term visa your bank in UK must send a Swift Message to their branch. The information can be found online. Although it's not really interesting if you live outside Bangkok because they can't emit a new debit card when your account is in BKK.

I agree this is an important topic and understand that many are trying to find the cheapest and most reliable way to transfer funds in Thailand. That being said, I understand that

is the kind of person who will prefer using the safest way, which I would also do, by using SWIFT transfers that will show as international transfers (as long as you deal with legit banks that do a real SWIFT) rather than finding the cheapest and riskiest way to make that transfer, which is also reasonable since pouring down our money on those greedy banks wont help any of us in the future.
