I have a friend in Ho Chi Minh city who had his ED Visa (English language) denied for the following reasons:

- The ministry education papers should o longer show more than one level on the same request (he is beginner writing, intermediate conversation)

- The embassy now requires proof AND source of funds for the last three months.

Since at least one of the requirements can't be met, what are the alternatives for him:

- French nationality

- 19 years old

- Money comes from his parents who are retired living in Thailand
