Hi everyone.

I'm a Canadian passport holder with METV set to expire on December 23rd.

I will make a last border run just before the expiry date in order to get stamped an additional 2 months. Will this last stamp be eligible for an extension of stay?

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Canadian passport holder with a METV expiring on December 23rd plans a last border run to obtain an additional 2-month stay. It is confirmed that the new stamp can be extended for 30 days for a fee of 1900 baht.

yes 9 months less the few days it takes to get to the country and if you leave a “buffer” for your last exit/entry.

thanks, wasn't sure because everyone keeps talking about 8 months and with the extension it's closer to 9 than 8 in total.
