Seems he basically left the 1st place after being told to stay (after 2 hours according to him) and they tracked him down at a hotel and then put him in a more secure place. The guy was positive and quite happy to spread it around cause “he” felt fine. No sympathy sorry. This is a good example of why there’s plenty of virus being spread and infecting vulnerable people. Just pathetic!

…and also no insurance required for the Spouse (married to a Thai national) either.

here’s what I wrote! It mentions the hotel

I was told I could leave after my negative test but chose to stay the night. They were happy for me to leave the room and also return so went to and a street market nearby. Not an issue at Miloft Sathorn Hotel. Can’t recommend it though, pretty basic room and meals. 4,200 Baht including everything and the ATK test for later.

That’s what I’m in the process of doing now. Arrived visa exempt and applying for O Spouse Visa, 90 days then get the year extension. Immigration Police came to the house yesterday 😀👍🇦🇺🇹🇭
