I am having some problems getting my O visa anyone been through the process. It was my understanding you could get a 90 day on a 30-day visa to complete, I had to extend for 30 more days. I have the lease and bank statement.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing issues obtaining a Non-O visa and is seeking advice from others who have gone through the process. They mention a requirement for a 90-day extension on their 30-day visa and confirm having the necessary documents like a lease and a bank statement. A comment highlights that applicants need to have at least 15 days left on their stamp (21 for Chiang Mai) in order to apply.

Thanks for the info!

You’d need at least 15 days left on a stamp (21 for Chiang Mai) to apply. These are the requirements for Phuket. Your local office may differ slightly.

This doesnt cover financial requirements nor insurance requirements? Is there a complete list somewhere?

There is no insurance requirement. For a non O based on retirement you need 800k in a Thai bank in your name that has seen to have been transferred from overseas. Based on marriage it’s 400k and no requirement where funds originated.

…and also no insurance required for the Spouse (married to a Thai national) either.
