it was a general statement and the only thing directly towards you was the question of whether you knew the Thai lingo before coming to Thailand 🙃 she's here to ask questions, she has already said she's looking into it, she doesn't claim to know anything yet. I don't know why people have to spout their negative nonsense to people who aren't asking for their opinions. You told her she shouldn't come here because she doesn't know what a farang is....? How is that in the slightest bit helpful? I'm sure as you are living here, with 2 children and a Thai wife, you've probably got something more productive and helpful to suggest than what you did. As for the stereotype, well it wouldn't be a stereotype if it wasn't at least slightly true, would it?
I've actually never heard of single white females working in Pattaya either, you probably have more knowledge than me 😘I went there once about 11 years ago, never intend to set foot in that place again, all i saw was what you wouldn't even like to imagine, and the typical farang that love it. Grim place that.
don't listen to these idiots. Thailand is not a man's land. They are simply referring to the places they frequent (girly bars and areas with lots of them). A farang is a foreigner. So they basically mean to educate them in your own country. Again, don't take the advice of these 'men' regarding the education or life you're providing your children.
you knew all the Thai lingo before you came here? Doubt it.
The people in these groups are generally awful and unhelpful. Don't listen to them. Seems to mostly be bitter old dudes who came here to get what they couldn't get in their own countries.... I'd recommend joining groups which are for the area you plan to go to, they all have their own. You will probably get some friendlier and more helpful advice there.
I dont really get it. She seems to be asking if shes allowed to do online classes after childbirth.... I think shes being serious, not making a joke. Im struggling to identify where the humour is...
