I've never used an agent and never had a problem. You can get a list of requirements from the immigration office which serves your province or area. You use this as a checklist and ensure you have the required documents. It's really very easy. The only people who say it's difficult are those offering "help", which always comes at a ridiculous price. I know people who pay up to 20,000 baht for a 2,000 baht visa. Stupidity at its highest level
Don't be a twat! Of course there's a bribe paid! Why do you think people living in Bangkok get a stamp from Khon Kaen? You can call it tea money, but the fact is the difference between 1900 baht for a legit extension versus 20,000+ baht for an "agency" extension doesn't take much working out! 😂
I travelled for years to Thailand and was never asked. Since covid finished I've been asked three times. Heathrow with Thai Airways, Berlin with Qatar, Sydney with Singapore Airlines. There certainly seems to have tightened. Maybe it's part of the WEF NWO? 🤣🤣
Immigration is always a good place to seek information. I wouldn't be asking a visa agent. They will give you an answer which will make them the most money out of you
I can't see how it's worded incorrectly but we have freedom of choice into believing what we want. Simple English. The extension has not been approved and the applicant has been directed to leave the country. That's what it is. I take more objection to the know-it-all experts on Facebook who tell people it's a legitimate 7-day extension. If that was the case, why isn't a standard extension of stay stamp used?
I don't think that will happen. They want to see that lump sum in your bank account. I don't do the lump sum method, I transfer the money in each month, then I get to spend it. Never liked the idea of having such a large sum of money tied up virtually forever in a Thai bank account earning crap interest
