Its quite impossible to be enforced, last time the only reason they were making u pay was that it was needed to be cleared out /fine paid/ before they give u the extension stamp. Here u reset the visa every time u exit the country and stamp will be needed after 5 years when ur visa expired and u want the extension eventually, otherwise i dont see a way for them to make u pay the fine and since its only 2000 baht is much cheaper to pay it after 5 years then wasting ur time whenever it is
I am usually getting the 535 baht plan for 3 months from dtac. 100g per month is more then enough for me and it appear to have better coverage then AIS
considering how hard was it to get a long term visa before those changes, it makes no sense to be able to get 5 years visa based on one visit in a hospital or similar, especially having in mind that the visa exemption is 90 days which’s more then enough. I believe we have to wait for some time to get those answers
