So you just show up at On Nut at 9:30 and then returned at 1pm? How much was the total cost?

as long as the children are not yet enrolled in school they can overstay with no problem or do you still need to pay the fine?

I learned the hard way after being denied at Laos border when I thought I had 3 blank pages in my US Passport. The IO told me it says "Endorsements" on it and they will not place a Visa sticker on that page at the border. I got this sorted out by getting a new US Passport at the embassy now with 52 pages for $110.

It's beneficial for people who want to live in Thailand without having to apply for Tourist Visas every 3 months.

Tod Daniels Of course you will need to stamp into Laos first. Basically exit Thailand at Nong Khai, then go to the Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge and stamp into Laos, but then you can leave Laos, and return and stamp back into Thailand at Nong Khai.

You can do this if you have a METV. Stamp out stamp right back in. But most people also go to Laos to apply for a SETV, so staying in Laos for at least 2 days is the minimum.

Did you fly there just to go to the Thai consulate?

If you are already in Thailand then this option is not possible? You would need to go back to home country to apply for O-A long stay and return? Otherwise, if you have no plans on going back to home country, then there are no other options besides the O Multiple and Single entry which means having to cross the border every 90 days?

If its your first time coming to Thailand with a valid visa, what could possible be the reason you get refused entry? Unless you have a warrant out for your arrest or something. Never say never, but if someone has little to no history in Thailand coming in with a valid visa, I would say it is damn near impossible they would get refused entry
Jason ******
It's almost impossible that you will get refused entry into Thailand if this is your first few Tourist Visas. Unless you're trying to enter on a visa after the "enter before date". Maybe if you're on your 10th Tourist Visa the percentage gets lower and lower but you certainly shouldn't lose sleep if its your first thai visa.
