If you go 60 days visa exempt, then extend with 30 days for 1900 Baht at Immigration office, before you travel out of Thailand, to get a new visa exempt period.

The Immigration officer may always ask you for 20.000 Baht, a hotelreservation / or other place to stay.

Apply from your country or the country you are in right now, then you don't have to go any other country, but can go direct to Thailand.

It may be easier to get documents approved in the country where they are issued, and the Embassy is use to see those documents.

You may have to get your own DTV before you can apply for the dependants, and of course you have to pay visafee for everybody, since the Embassy have to do the same work to proces every application.

You should basicly focus on, how to show that you are actualy are in the county where you are.

In som countrys it is utility bills, but there are other ways, depending on country or Embassy.

It could be as simple as a photo of you in front of a landmark with todays newspaper.

Or check-in at a hotel.

You forgot to tell what purpose you need the certificat of resindency for.

Also you didn't tell how long time you have stayed where you are staying now.

If it is for bankaccount, it wont help you anyway, since DTV is not eligable for at Thai Bankaccount at all.

If you travel around it may be the reason, since it is to certifie the you have stayed at least 90 days at the same adress.

This is the requirements:

1. Residence Certificate Application Form in Thailand

2. Original passport (as well as a copy of the biodata page, current visa, most recent entry stamp, and TM.6 Card)

3. Receipt of 90-day Report Notification

4. A copy of your Address Notification Receipt (TM.30).

5. A copy of your house lease agreement and rental contract where you stay including:

– A copy of ID/Passport (if a foreigner) of the landlord

– A copy of the house registration book of the landlord

– A copy of the title deed to confirm who is the owner required if the landlord is not a household

6. One passport-size photo (white background taken within 6 months)
