My local Immigration (Nakhon Pathom) refuses to issue me a Certificate of Residency on a DTV. For those who have been able to get one, can you please share which provincial immigration office was able to issue one, and what documents were needed? Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses an individual's difficulty obtaining a Certificate of Residency on a DTV at the local Immigration office in Nakhon Pathom. Several comments share experiences from others who successfully obtained the certificate at different locations, such as Jomtien and Phuket, emphasizing the importance of having a TM30 submission. Various necessary documents are outlined, including a Residence Certificate Application Form, passport copies, proof of residence, and a passport-sized photo.

You forgot to tell what purpose you need the certificat of resindency for.

Also you didn't tell how long time you have stayed where you are staying now.

If it is for bankaccount, it wont help you anyway, since DTV is not eligable for at Thai Bankaccount at all.

If you travel around it may be the reason, since it is to certifie the you have stayed at least 90 days at the same adress.

This is the requirements:

1. Residence Certificate Application Form in Thailand

2. Original passport (as well as a copy of the biodata page, current visa, most recent entry stamp, and TM.6 Card)

3. Receipt of 90-day Report Notification

4. A copy of your Address Notification Receipt (TM.30).

5. A copy of your house lease agreement and rental contract where you stay including:

ā€“ A copy of ID/Passport (if a foreigner) of the landlord

ā€“ A copy of the house registration book of the landlord

ā€“ A copy of the title deed to confirm who is the owner required if the landlord is not a household

6. One passport-size photo (white background taken within 6 months)

Jomtien issues them as soon as you have TM30 - no need to wait for the 90-day first report

That is exactly what he asked. If you had read and understood the thread you would have realised that before chirping in.

Phuket Immigration office is easy to get one at. You don't even need to be on any visa. I got one a couple of months ago while on a visa exempt stamp.

*Passport Photo

*TM30 Print Out

*Photocopy of Passport Info and Current Stamp.

*Complete the form.

They charge 500 baht for it. Have to wait 1-2 hours

Some offices won't issue one until after your first 90 day report, and of course you need to have a TM30 filed in their jurisdiction for them to supply the certificate.

most regions offer it if you submit tm30
