Nikolina Lisko they could ask, good idea to have 20k baht or equivalent on hand upon entry to the Kingdom as its highly recommended

I brought cash then just exchanged it to baht when I got here, but not at the airport unless necessary because the exchange rate there wasn’t the best

Is there a bad connotation though with kids overstaying if you do multiple visa runs? Aren't they stamped for overstay in their visas? Does it "look bad" on the parents to have these stamps in there multiple times?

As an American(and I'm sure everyone else), I thought you had to get METV in your home country. Do you think it was an oversight of the lady helping you?

From what I understand you don’t need proof of funds, onward travel or proof of where you’re staying. It might be the only one

yeah I understand. I see it says "last updated: 01 August 2018" so I figured it'd be somewhat reliable but I was just wondering about where it say "Letter of Employment" and if that's necessary. First time I've noticed that as part of the requirements for application
Tyson ********
I saw somewhere it shows you have to show "Letter of Employment." Is that correct?

Our visa run isn't until December, so still pretty far away.

I've heard it all depends on the immigration officer as to what they'll ask for. Do you think this is accurate?

Interesting. We're making our first VISA run to Hong Kong. My wife prepared the VISA run itinerary so I wasn't aware of this...

Got it, and I guess I can just exchange it for Baht after that? Is there a place that's better than the other when we arrive to exchange or are the rates pretty much the same
