Anyone been to Chiang Mai immigration recently for their 30 day extension on a SETV? Wondering the best days or times to go considering the recent change of location and recent visit from the BOSS. Well be doing ours next week or the following. I know there’s certain days to try and avoid due to agencies going but can’t recall or find that information on here, thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the best days or times to visit the Chiang Mai immigration office for a 30-day extension on a SETV due to recent location changes and crowd concerns. Comments suggest that recent crowded conditions have been observed, especially after holidays when the office was closed. One user recommends calling immigration for real-time updates on crowd situations, while another shares a personal experience of a long wait time.
As we can not tell the future, we can not guess when there are small lines or long lines when you want to visit. Best is to contact Immigration yourself and ask how busy it is. Their phone number is: 053 142 787
I went last tuesday and it was seriously crowded. Had to wait 4 hours total for my visa exempt entry extension. Met another guy who’s been waiting since 2AM to extend his education visa and he finished half an hour after me.
Anyway, past monday was a special day on which the offices were closed so maybe that had to do with the extra crowd
