Thanks Tod, I guess my main question was just if it needed to be on-hand, if I needed to carry a bank statement and if it needed to be in baht or just the equivalent and Robert answered a couple of those for me.
My family of five is coming to Thailand from the US on a 60 day tourist visa and then we’re extending for another 30 for 1900 baht($57 USD each). So we’ll have 90 days total. We’re then doing a VISA run to Hong Kong in December for another tourist VISA. If you can swing it the tourist VISA is cheaper than coming in on a visa exempt status and extending for 30 days(only 60 days total).
If you’re at the end of your passport then how were you assuming to get a tourist visa? Don’t you have to have like 6 months of validity on your passport?
