Where should I wait at Suvarnabhumi Airport for my mother arriving in Bangkok?

Turn right out of customs. Tell her to walk down from gate 10 to 5 where you will be waiting. Very easy, this is how i meet my elderly parents and never a problem. Also a good idea is for them to carry an Apple air tag, this way you can track their progress and location incase they get lost. Thats if you have an iPhone of course.

13,500THB fine at airport and the chance of getting black listed and banned.

Better off going to immigration now and surrendering as an illegal immigrant. You may get lucky if you say sorry and give some very deep Wai's.

No masks needed anymore, only on public transport, buses, trains etc.

You will find that some Thais are still wearing masks but they are not mandatory.

Just flew out of BKK with Emirates and masks aren't needed anymore.

Ive just sent a passport to the UK from Thailand with DHL and it took 4 days.

I hope your not using the UK Post Office to send your passport are you? Do you know about the postal strikes and the back log of post.
