Went to check in at Heathrow with Qatar Airways on Tuesday and was told my DTV is not correct due to the Nationality: GBR then underneath : United Kingdom and British overseas territories. My Passport says GBR then United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. They said it should say that instead.

This is my 1st entry on my DTV. I told them the visa is correct, but they refused me to board flight unless I booked another flight or exit within 60 days. I told them it’s correct and I may not fly if they enter me with 60 days on the system.

The supervisor came and told me he will contact immigration in BKK airport to clarify but he usually doesn’t do that. He said in the meanwhile book an exit route within 60 days because he believed it was incorrect. I asked him has he had this case before and he said yes.

So I booked an exit within 60 days. He then came back to me and said it’s ok his staff don’t deal with this much and checked me in. Not even an apology. To say I was stressed and annoyed was an understatement.

Let alone the cost. Let’s hope they have learnt and won’t stress another passenger out and cost them a lot of money for nothing. When I arrived at suvarnabhumi I had all my paperwork and was stamped in very quickly no questions.

Anyone else had this issue? Thanks for any info

My Indian husband is travelling from Vietnam to Thailand for 3 days, and plan to get a visa on arrival at the airport. He has been residing in Vietnam for 2 years and have vaccination from Vietnam.

Anyone please advise any updated Covid test requirement, insurance proof (minimum requirement) or bank statement to get the visa and enter the country?

Highly appreciate your info!

Hi all. I have not been to Thailand for 2 years because of covid. Is it all normal now without the need to wear a mask? etc

Or maybe just on the plane? I plan to fly in January from London and will stay in Pattaya and maybe go to Bkk and Chiang mai for a total of 3 weeks only.

We're from the UK & stopping in Bkk for 3days on way to Oz. I know we can get a visa waiver for those 3 days. Does anyone know if we can we apply NOW in the UK for the longer 2month paid visa that we can use several weeks AFTER when we return end of Sept? So will hopefully have that visa in the passport (or is it an evisa?) and can use it when we choose? Can I enter the country while keeping a visa unused for later or does it void the validity? Also is it easy to get the 2month visa as used to be same day in Liverpool office whichs closed now? 😜 Cheers!

Is a covid test required for non-vaccinated individuals on domestic flights? If so, does the airport offer testing or would you need to have one completed before hand? Thanks.

Can anyone tell me if and when I can resubmit a Thai pass application? The reason is because my QR code photo for my vaccination certificate has writing on it and I didn’t wait for the confirmation letter from the hotel, I just sent the confirmation page from Booking.com

TIA
