going to be hard to leave Germany if he is a refugee and has no passport from Germany and if he can’t live in Iran it is safe to say he no longer has a current Iranian passport… so there is NO 60 day visa on arrival in Thailand situation applying here.

One has to ask WHY you don’t meet the criteria as Refugee in Germany to obtain asylum and thereby a Passport.

Without an Iranian or German Passport you are not going to be able to reside in Thailand.

As for Thai citizenship, that is not going to happen.

yes that is the understanding I have as well, it is all about the Digital Economy and not physically working in a Remote Location.

That said, someone will test the water in the coming months and find an Immigration Offical who may interpret the definitions in a unique way.
