The visa is multiple entry over five years. Each stay is 180 days maximum, no minimum

Sign up with another course? There's no limit

The DTV is looked on as a tourist visa as it has an expiry date which cannot be extended beyond the five years. A visa, for example, the non-O retirement can be extended indefinitely until you kark it

You don't actually have a visa. You have a free entry stamp. You can go up to 30 days before the stamp expires, except in Jomtien where you must go within the last seven days

No such thing as a 60-day Visa On Arrival. I'm guessing you entered on a free entry stamp. Go to your local immigration office and get a 30-day extension. You can go anytime

Certificate of Tax Residency is more substantial than TIN or Passport. I have one from Australia to ensure I'm not required to pay tax in Thailand

VFS is an agent. I never said they were dodgy, nor did I imply that. You're obviously not aware that you can make an appointment through the normal immigration office, pay the 1900 baht, and be out in twenty minutes.

If you intend to travel overseas regularly (2-3 times a year) the DTV is the best visa by a country mile. The new "Super Visa" which has seen thousands of applications and people switching from ED, non-O retirement and non-O marriage visas in their hundreds. A very easy to use visa which requires zero money to be put into a Thai bank account thereby circumnavigating any taxation issues. It's the Thailand Visa Of The Century

VFS is an outsourcing agent for the Thai government. They charge for their service of obtaining a extension of stay, or you can just go to immigration and do it yourself. If you're happy to pay 500 baht for absolutely nothing, go for it! ๐Ÿ˜‚
