Still valid 🙂 the DTV visa is granted on basis of the 6 months course and can be extended for 5 years

My advice would be to fly to a neighboring country and arrange your DTV from there (Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia,Indonesia). First of all its much more practical and cheaper to arrange your DTV from there. Currently I have applied for my DTV Thai Cooking course through House of Taste in BKK which offers a very professional service for DTV, can highly recommend! For flight confirmations you can use but to be honest i would highly recommend partnering with house of taste with the DTV support package and they can help you with all your questions and experience to minimize the risk of rejection!

Currently I am also applying from Jakarta but through House of Taste for a Thai culinairy cooking course, highly recommended!

I can highly recommend House of Taste in BKK for a DTV soft skills thai cooking course, it doesnt matter where you apply for it as long as it is outside of thailand. If you are only returning to thailand for 2 months you dont need a DTV visa which is basically eligble for 5 years, just get a visa on arrival for 30 days and extend it another 30 days at the immigration office in thailand

I agree with Luit here; most foreigners have no sensitivity or awareness about the country they visit and just think they are in some tropical laa-laa-land where they can do whatever they want. just consider it a lesson in humility 😉
