applying at jakarta. at first i thought they required 3 months of bank statements but now that im looking at their website again, i dont see anywhere that says that.

does anyone have official information for how many statements we need for jakarta?

do they require the 500k baht to be in the account for 3 or more months, or does it matter as long as it's the final balance at the time of application?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the requirements for bank statements when applying for a Thai visa in Jakarta. There is some confusion about whether applicants need to show 3 months of bank statements with a minimum balance of 500,000 THB or if it's acceptable to just have that amount as the final balance at the time of application. Comments indicate that recent approvals have considered various scenarios, including some cases where applicants were approved with only 1 month of 500,000 THB and 3 months of statements. However, it appears that many are advised to provide 3 to 6 months of statements for successful applications.

Recent approvals have been given for a final balance of 500k with 3-6 months of statements. One approved 2 weeks ago had 500k for a month with 3 months of statements.

I’m currently searching for this information too. The cooking class said i would need

Anonymous participant 431 i think the cooking school is just being cautious to give you the best chance to get approved. It is preferable to have the money in the bank for a while, but many people have gotten their dtv with just the most recent month over 500k

Anonymous participant 431 yes its all a bit confusing. at least for jakarta it looks like they want 3 months of statements and it is OK as long as the final balance meets the minimum requirement
