How possible is it to work with the Thailand Government, specifically the Agriculture Dept.,

or work with a major Thailand University?

work visa or education visa in exchange

I am thinking of just going to the Embassy and starting a conversation to ask these questions but start here to get more ideas and information.

My specialty is ecological agriculture science, industrial hemp agronomy, and all things related to the cannabis market.

An international team just got a grant from the Thailand Government to grow Industrial Hemp for Biofuels and they want me a part of it but i want to get a visa out of the deal but that will be all on me to make happen, if at all possible.

Considering that Cannabis Farms and dispensaries are a serious market now, wonder if I could start a consulting business and have a business visa by working for myself, is it that easy?

Not sure how to promote ecological agriculture and regenerative farming here in Thailand but it seems to me they would want my help here.

any thoughts?

thank you for your time

I'm unclear on the "Statement of Objective" for my Non-Immigrant, Multi-Entry B to be requested in Los Angeles.

Who has obtained a "Statement of Objective" before? I am not sure if the host company in Thailand or the foreign company sending me should provide it? Or both?

Since it is sandwiched between points 1 and 3, which are about the host company, I assume it's the Thai host company. But still want to hear from someone with experience.

Lastly, what it should contain and how brief can it be? On a company letterhead can it simply say "Objective of stay: Mr. Aaron Aaron EspaƱa will be consulting about the product quality and coordinating production during his stay in Thailand, as we receive orders from our American trade partners, XYZ Co, USA."?

Hello!! I am currently in Thailand on a tourist Visa (Greek passport holder) and have already done a visa run to Laos. I will not be actively working since I am employed from a foreign company and will mostly have a consultation role in a small company in Thailand so I just need to reassure that I will be in Thailand for one more year, asking to find out which is the easiest way to do so.

-- Is it true about the new regulation providing you a six month tourist visa and unlimited land-boarder crossings? Would it be possible to spend a year just by renewing my tourist visa?

-- Is it hard to get a Non-Immigrant Visa ā€œBā€ and in which embassy would it be easier to make it? Could my already two entries create problems for the business visa?

Thank you for your help!
