What should expats know about 90 day reporting for DTV visa in Bangkok?

Hello everyone,

I’m sharing my 90 day reporting experience in Bangkok so you don’t make the same mistakes I do.

1. For the DTV visa, do not go to OneBangkok. They only process business/work visa 90 day reporting. Not DTV. Instead, go to Immigration Division 1 Immigration Bureau (120 อาคาร รัฐประศาสนภักดี B, Chaeng Watthana Rd, Thung Song Hong, Lak Si, Bangkok 10210, Thailand)

2. Do not wear shorts that are above the knees (e.g exercise shorts). I was told that I dressed immodestly, and I had to go see a supervisor who told me again that what I was wearing was inappropriate. They did process my 90 day reporting, but the judgement was very uncomfortable. I do understand that it was my fault since it is a government building. So just a heads up.

3. I believe that as long as you arrive and get a queue number before 3:30pm, you’re good to go. I got there around 2:30pm and the ticket said that if I miss my number, I can get another one before 3:30pm.

Hope this helps!

Anonieme deelnemer 427 I wonder how you did not know this. Almost every travel site on earth mentions this for tourists traveling to Thailand.

How could you miss this info about a country you want to stay for a longer time.

no need to be condescending or patronizing. Women’s issues are important and universally present.

It has nothing to do with condescending or patronizing, I just wonder how someone could have missed all that info.

On litterally thousands of sites is mentioned that in Thailand in government buildings you need to be dressed properly.

Most times explained that when you need 30 day extension of your stay you should remind this.

Who is talking about women's issues?????

@Jins *******
First one must be in person or by post. 2nd one can be online but if you leave country and come back it resets ie the first report has to be in person again

the first time needs to be done in person. Second time can be online. Every time you exit thailand it resets itself and first time must be in person again
