I asked AI to write me an employment sponsorship letter from my employer i.e. (my American Company)

Once I complete I'll have it translate into Thai for me πŸ˜œπŸ˜‰

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around the proper way to address an employment verification letter intended for Thai immigration, particularly for remote workers. Discussion points include the necessary addressee of the letter (whether to the Thai immigration department or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), the implications of employment status for LLCs, potential employer verification, and personal accounts of challenges faced when securing a visa as a self-employed remote worker.

I have been down this road, I am self employed, I did everything I could possibly think of, the Thai consulate even helped me, but in the end I was not successful as a remote worker, so I switched to "soft power activities" and got my DTV Visa easily. They like people to work for a company with a letter that states they are able to work remotely, when you are self employed it does not seem to work, at least for me it did not

Is that the way you need to write it in case you run your own company? Can a LLC have employees?

yes your good to write it this way then translate to Thai as a sign of respect to them. The law has many work or workation and education options but the digital nomad w overview of how you make income is the easiest w 500k in a acct 6months should be a breeze (I hope)

I'll leave off my normal signatures as to prevent confusion and use company notary

You’re not writing to the Thai immigration department. You’re writing to the ministry of foreign affairs (MFA) who issue the visas.

Your first encounter with Thai immigration will be at the border.
