Did you reported the accident to the IO as it’s happening, or immediately after, on a timely manner?

My friends were in the same situation, reported the incident and both of them were fine. That’s about 10 years ago.

That’s pretty much only option you have.

Do you have Thai birth certificate? If yes, go back to Thailand; to your mother’s area. With two witnesses, your mother and her household registered book , asked to be added to her book and then get your Thai ID. Overseas embassy dose not issue the first time ID.

One consequence you are as male is the soldier duty. Hope you are aware of this . It’s not fully pardoned until the age of 50 , not 30.

A friend of mine just got k-1 visa expedited this past month due to her fiancé’s being ill . Let me know if you want me to ask how he did it.

My Passport renewal was very easy, normal procedures. I did it by mail and got a new one in hand by the 11th days of sending applications.

The same difference; I did all of my immigration paperwork by myself, my PR and ultimately the USA. citizenship . From my point of view all immigrations process are very transparent and straightforward, no need to pay anyone to do it for you.

Doing all of it on my own I’ve learned and able to did it for my two children. That save me ten thousands dollars.

As a USA passport holder, at the recent , the exemption is 60 days . You will be just fine. Enjoy Thailand.

Your wife is Thai and a local , she can easily searching for it . It’s her child , mother can do more for her children.

If you mean the housing projects military provided? If yes, even a Thai with non-military background/relation is not allowed. My father was a military personnel, I know for the facts.
