glad to hear it went well. I had the same impression as you, I’ve done the extension in jomtien before but never in Bangkok and was also surprised how smooth it went. You need to have the 30 day extension first before you can do 60 day btw. And you can actually go extended 3 weeks before your extension expires.
I took a grab since it was slightly cheaper however the guy had no idea where he was going and refused to listen to the gps a 35 min journey took more than an hour and a half. With grab it’s hit or miss but I’d take a taxi personally. I’ve attached a photo that I hope helps you find it. If you have the google maps app and search muang thong Thani immigration it will show you the correct place that you can then show to the taxi. When you get there it’s almost like a big compound with several buildings. Follow the signs that say 90 day extension and you’ll find the right building.

day extensions are on the 3rd floor. Hope this helps pal
was very little people today. Showed up around 9am and everything went smooth. Saw very few foreigners actually mainly People from Myanmar it seemed.
They’ve split the visa extension and 90 day reporting to two separate floors so I think visa extensions are quite fast not sure about the 90 day reporting.
Update: went this morning left super early but the taxi I got was an idiot and did a huge detour so showed up around 9am but was fine not too busy honestly did the photos and photocopies by the entrance and filled out the TM7. Honestly the whole process was fine I spent more time in the taxi than I did in immigration. I wanted to do the 60 day extension but said you need to do the 30 day one first. I think just being polite to the immigration officers goes a long way even though they are very patronising. Thanks again for all the help here, appreciate it a lot!
