Hi,
I have 2 passports. I'm planning to marry my fiancee and get a marriage visa. Is it possible to get a stamp of the marriage visa in each of my passports?
I have an Irish passport which I used to travel to Thailand. But I have gotten the marriage documents through the Norwegian embassy which is my other passport. If I can only get the marriage visa for my norwegian passport is it possible to use the entry stamp in my Irish passport for approval?
I know its a bit confusing but hope it makes sense!
Thanks
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of obtaining a marriage visa in two different passports, specifically asking if they can have the visa stamped in both an Irish and Norwegian passport, given that they have used the Irish passport for entry into Thailand but have marriage documents from Norway. Responses indicate that the marriage visa can only be stamped in the passport that matches the marriage documentation, which in this case is the Norwegian passport. Additionally, it's clarified that the entry stamp must be in the passport used for entry, complicating the situation further. Ultimately, the consensus is that the user will need to enter Thailand with their Norwegian passport to receive the marriage visa.
