Hello all. I've suffered a pulmonary embolism and cannot travel due to illness. I've been bedridden since returning from hospital.

Is there a visa extension to apply for? If so what is the TM to apply for? Australian passport and in Bangkok.

When filling out TM 7 what are valid reasons for extension when extension request is for 1st, 2nd or 3rd extensions on METV or does it come into play for approval?

Good morning. Is the TM 7 the proper form for extending an OA non imm long STAY? Has it changed at all in the past year beyond asking for the TM 30?

Thanks in advance.

My son had a twelve month visa extension issued at Jomtien, based on having a Thai child, which expired about six months ago.

He has taken advantage of three Covid extensions, but it seems now he will have to apply for a 'child visa extension' again.

Would you list the provisional documents required.

I believe there is no need for the ฿400K to be seasoned. Please confirm.

And when he gets an approval and returns after the month, will the immigration check to see that these funds are still in his account.

Thanks, chaps

Good morning all,

Just want to recapitulate/summarize before applying for my extension of Stay based on retirement. Want to make sure I don’t forget anything. (Non IMM O Visa)

What I need to submit:

- Application form (TM7)

- Original + Copy of applicant’s passport + most recent visa/stamps

- Copy of departure card

- 2 ID photos (4x6cm)

- Account deposited certificate issued by Bank (Letter certifying the money -7 days old max.-)

- 1 year bank statement (issued day of application)

- Original and Copy of bankbook

Do I also need copy of Landlord ID or passport and copy of rental agreement + TM 30 ??

Do I need to make an appointment?

Thank you very much in advance

Regards,

Isabelle

PS: also I heard you might need copy of vaccination certificate now ??

My wife and I arrived here in Thailand on October 19th. Our travel visas expire on November 17. We want to extend for as long as possible. We are getting conflicting stories about the process.

Does anyone here know the process or know someone that does that could walk us through it?

TIA 🍻

Hi All,

Going to immigration tomorrow to do my first 30 day visa extension so just want to make sure I’m prepared and don’t cock it up.

I’ve tried to make an appointment online but the website wasn’t working so my plan to show up at 8.30 when they open and just try and be the first person in the door.

I’ve arrived on a 45 day visa exemption and will get the 30 day extension. I’m in Bangkok and my understanding is that I have to go to Muang Thong Thani immigration office, could someone people confirm this.

I’m going with my passport. My TM6 Departure card and a copy of the TM 30 receipt my landlord received. And the 2000 THB to pay the fee. My understanding is that I can make the necessary photocopies and take the passport style photos at the immigration office? Is this correct?

I will fill out the TM 7 form when I am there tomorrow in person.

If anyone could let me know if I’m missing anything or have any advice for me it would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks all, have a good one! 😊
