Does anyone know if and what dates immigration will be closed in the Christmas to new year period? My 30 day visa exemption runs on the 27th of December so thinking what day I should go down there to do my 30 day extension. Think I should maybe go on the 23rd?
Thanks for the help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
In response to a query about immigration office hours during the Christmas to New Year period, several users clarified that Christmas is not a public holiday in Thailand. Immigration offices will be closed on Friday, December 31st, and Monday, January 3rd. Additionally, offices are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Therefore, it's suggested to visit on December 23rd or 24th to avoid any issues with extending a 30-day visa exemption.
lots apparently nor search button because not first time questions been asked

You can go any day. For the visa extension you don't need to wait until the end of your first tenure. You can go tomorrow and 30 days will be added to the end of your initial 30 days.

Christmas is not a public holiday here, immigration offices are closed every saturday and sunday as usual and it seems that they all are closed from Dec 31st to Jan 3rd included (check their website or FB page to be sure). So you better go on 23rd or 24th to be safe !
