They don’t understand online businesses the same way you do. In their mind, nomads are probably more like a freelancer not an ecom store owner (that’s my guess).
I would either email them explaining how your business works…
Or send them your business website whether it’s like an Amazon or Shopify store and daily sales from last month or something - with a brief explanation.
I imagine the whole point is just to confirm you really make money online.
same, kiwi here and I don’t get how other countries offer the visa for 10k - 15k baht, while NZ is charging 45k… just a blatant rip off. Nothing new in NZ tho, a bloody basket of groceries will cost you $300 these days, $100 a few years ago
Christ - as a kiwi, NZ is the last place I’ll be applying for visas. It seems like everything is just stupid prices there atm. Gonna do it in Cambodia lol
don’t think so, outside of Thai visa & digital nomad communities no one is even talking about it 😬 most people are your normal 14 - 30 day holiday goers
If you don’t have specifics, it might not be that it’s strict but rather that several people did not follow the instructions / provided necessary documents
For example - I would imagine some people would not have had 500k baht sitting in their acc for the last 6 months
