Hello. I hope someone can help me because I can’t get through on the embassy phone since more then a week. 

I applied for DTV in German embassy Frankfurt 

I’m running an e commerce business in Germany. 

Now they ask me for the following documents:

1.Current order or assignment 

2. professional portfolio with representation of a digital nomad. 

What do they mean with this. We have monthly around 3000 orders from customers. We sell cosmetics 

What order shall I show them? 

And also what do they mean with the portfolio? 

I hope someone can help me. 

I don’t get reply on email. And nobody answers the phone since more then a week. I’m afraid my application expires

Ich hatte hier in pnom Penh ein ähnliches Problem.

Ich habe dann eine Tabelle eingereicht, wo unterschiedliche Kunden Namen drauf waren mit Email und Website etc. Rechnungsbetrag, offen oder bezahlt, und das hatte ich gelb markiert und das fand sich auch auf meinem Kontoauszug wieder.

Ob diese Kunden Strichpunktartig kontrolliert werden weiß ich nicht.

Zu 2) habe ich denen mein linked in Profil ausgedruckt und von meiner Firma paar Urkunden mit viel Stempel und Wappen eingereicht. Das hat denen hier für die Bewilligung gereicht.

They don’t understand online businesses the same way you do. In their mind, nomads are probably more like a freelancer not an ecom store owner (that’s my guess).

I would either email them explaining how your business works…

Or send them your business website whether it’s like an Amazon or Shopify store and daily sales from last month or something - with a brief explanation.

I imagine the whole point is just to confirm you really make money online.

Maybe another ecom owner can weigh in tho

Sounds typically Thai. 😂 prepare a page with hyperlink to your webstore, some example screenshots and a tax return for 2023. Plus a contract or confirmation letter from the company outlining remote work.
