just once? I thought twice if by land border and unlimited if by airports. (Although IO not thrilled to see too many border runs in order to get another extension) but did that change? Just one now?

nope, nothing. I didn’t even notice I was a day over until much later, going thru my passport. No stamp, no waiver. My guess is the IO just wrote me off as “clueless” and waived me through🤣😅

last trip over here, last year, I didn’t realise I departed one day over my visa expiration. I didn’t get an overstay stamp nor was I charged 500 Baht. I was just lucky I guess; honest mistake.

. It did get cloudy & rained. But still warm and after a cloudburst, it was sunny. Just have an umbrella for the sudden downpour. It didn’t detract from our New Year Holiday.

get a good visa agent. That’s all you need. They’ll get your bank account and do all the paperwork for you.

If you’re near a hospital like Bangkok Hospital, or Bumrungrad; they have an International medicine office for non Thai citizens. I did it; was great; doctors/staff excellent and VERY reasonable charge. I had a bad cough like that last year and was diagnosed bronchitis. The Thai doctor at Bangkok Hospital saw signs of that infection on my chest X-ray he took. I was given anti virals & an antibiotic for secondary infection. Plus a cough suppressant that worked amazingly but unfortunately I don’t recall the name. But see a doctor vs a pharmacist. Good luck because yes, it’s awful😨

Need to know what country you’re arriving from.

it’s not TRAVEL insurance they want on a retirement visa, it’s HEALTH insurance.
