Aint about tourism.. It is about filling those beautiful condos in Pattaya and Bangkok that they built and very few are renting. Thailand has over $60 billion parked in empty real estate depreciating its economy.

Although I don't live in the NYC metropolitan area, but I added it to my search since NY has the cheapest flights just because of competition being served by every major airline ( domestic and foreign)

Agree with the OP. Thailand needs us as much as we want to be there. They have $50 Billion worth of money invested in Real Estate with no takers. All we ask is to treat us nicely and cut the bureaucratic Red Tapes.
