If a person opens a bank account in Pattaya in a big Thai bank (say Bangkok bank which have branches all over the country) , can he live in a different city? Most transactions are done electronically nowadays. Although, you still need to deal with them personally once a year for the dreaded visa extension.
Aint about tourism.. It is about filling those beautiful condos in Pattaya and Bangkok that they built and very few are renting. Thailand has over $60 billion parked in empty real estate depreciating its economy.
1) $2,500 for round trip, obviously. I am not retired yet and have to come back. 555. Objective of the trip to scour the area before full time relocation. Although I don't live in the NYC metropolitan area, but I added it to my search since NY has the cheapest flights just because of competition being served by every major airline ( domestic and foreign)
2) I have been keeping an eye on the price since August 24 as it is recommended that you pre-book months in advance to secure the cheapest fare. Price has not changed since then. My only filtering criteria is one stop only , and no Air India. 555
Agree with the OP. Thailand needs us as much as we want to be there. They have $50 Billion worth of money invested in Real Estate with no takers. All we ask is to treat us nicely and cut the bureaucratic Red Tapes.
Rule of thumb: To make it worthwhile, for every lecture hour, a student must study two hours on his own. Two hours plus Two hours time two= Six hours a day. Five days a week. That’s still a lot !
