Andrew Romine I intend to keep my work permit but I may change my job so I don't want the two connected.

Some people seem to be misunderstanding me... I currently have a WP and a Visa/Ext, which is tied to the WP, so if I change jobs, the Visa/Ext becomes void. So, what I want to do is get a year Visa or a multi-entry visa based on marriage. Before, the multi-entry only required the marriage documents, no proof of income or money seasoned in the bank, but you had to do a border bounce every 90 days. Whereas a 12-month visa based on marriage requires the 800k, or 400k + earning, but there also used to be a third option of income only (which I think was 60k/month). Is this still the case?e

yes, sorry the 12-month extension of stay. My current extension is based on my WP but I don't want my visa tied to a WP now.
